We are a Premier Preferred Invisalign Provider in Allen, TX

Consider choosing Invisalign treatment to get the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with Dr. Robertson can determine if Invisalign® clear aligners are right for you.

Dr. Robertson is designated a Premier Preferred Invisalign Provider by Invisalign due the number of patients he has treated successfully over the years with Invisalign. His expertise allows him to use Invisalign in a predictable way to straighten teeth and perfect his patients' bites. Invisalign's effectiveness in straightening teeth depends not on the Invisalign software, but rather the individual practitioner's skill level with Invisalign—and Dr. Robertson’s is outstanding!

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that allow you to smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology.

Why would I want Invisalign?

Not only are the aligners virtually invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also more comfortable than traditional braces, with no metal or wires. Invisalign treatment also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

How does Invisalign work?

You wear each set of clear aligner trays for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You'll visit our Allen, TX orthodontic office about once every eight weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages ten to 16 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

When you’re done with active treatment, we recommend the use of retainers for as long as you want to keep your teeth straight. We offer upper and lower removable retainers, as well as bonded lingual (behind the teeth) lower retainers the cost of which is included as part of your total treatment cost. Dr. Robertson will discuss your retainer needs and give you instructions on how to wear them and how to care for them at the end of your treatment.
